Urban trees.

Last night, walking back home, I came upon some regular, common trees, planted in the sidewalks of a boulevard.

I have to be honest, many simple thing make me wonder many things.

Strange things.

Like, I was thinking about if those trees were happy.

Yes, I know many would think, this man is losing it.

Maybe.

But at that moment I was wondering if those trees would be happier living in a high land forest.

Covered by snow in winter.

Baking under the sun is summer.

Sorrounded by the sound of the wind.

Inhabitated by birds and lizards.

Fearful of the seasonal fires.

And thankful of the monsoon rains.

Yes, I think that they would be happier there.

All the contrary to their urban existence.

Surronded by cars, chocking by the fumes coming out those machines.

Pissed by domestic and stray dogs.

Washed by acid rain.

Weird thoughts indeed.cityforestLOW
