Gloomy dummy
Bright lights, big city.
Yeah.
We’ve heard this many times before.
Nonetheless true.
No small town would ever have
the same attraction
the social magnet
to have in the same square miles
people from here, there, everywhere.
I don’t long for the small town life.
Don’t get me worong.
I do not in any way
dispise at all
the tranquil life of a place
without hurries
without
the clock.
The clock always keeping you stressed
hurried to get there.
Where?
There.
Whatever there is.
A place
a situation
where somehow
our life would
have some meaning.
Yeah, we are doing something
anything
that could carry us
to the next day.
I know.
many would say:
‘‘This guy has issues’’.
Yes, I have many.
Mostly refering to our present existence.
Where is this civilization heading to.
Fukushima polluting the entire Pacific Ocean.
Strange mutation on marine animal life
occurring right before our eyes.
Now.
Not tommorrow.
Not in thousands of years.
Now.
Before our eyes.
Is our kind the destroyer of worlds.
Oppehaimer said, after watching the first nuclear explosion
from hindu ancient writings:
‘‘Now I become death
the destroyer of worlds…”
That’s what we are now.
