Nuclear death.

For many decades

we all thought

our worst nightmare

that we, as a species

we would, eventually

destroy our planet

through a nuclear war.

That hellish war has not come yet.

But we, as species

found a way to destroy it anyway

using the same tool.

The atom.

The nuclear manipulation of it.

We thought we were God.

So we decided to produce energy

nuclear energy

apparently limitless

costless

safe

or so we were told

by the masters of the universe

who promoted, sold the idea

to governments and investors

fooling us and themselves

with their immense irresponsibility.

For money.

Now I know that one troubled nuclear site

just one,

out of the hundreds in existence

just one

is pouring 300 tons a day

again,

300 tons a day

of highly radioactive water

into the Pacific Ocean.

Everyday since the earthquake

and the resulting

tsunami

crashed it.

I mean, really crashed it.

And billions of radioactive particles expelled everyday

into the atmosphere.

Fukushima Daiichi Japan.

This is name of our end.

This is silently and

Oh my God

very efficiently

killing the millions of species that inhabit that vast ocean.

But radioactivity is not going to stay secluded to that area.

No, it will eventually find its way

to the last far away corner of the planet.

How ironic that the only country to suffer

the HELL of atomic explosions

embraced the same devil

so fiercely.

Sell your soul to the devil.

Never so true.

Now, Japan will be the first to

evacuate millions

in a desperate attempt to reduce

mass die off.

The rest of the world, we will die slowly.

With our flesh coming out of our bones.

Deprived of food, deprived of hope.

And the rest of the creation will die with us.

If somebody somewhere remembers us

they will say: ‘‘How arrogant, how stupid…

they killed their world…’’

Atom bomb
