Eternity.
I saw the Moon last night.
Again.
Like many other nights.
Endless nights
watching the Moon.
Some would say:
Lunatic.
Who watches the Moon that often
that incessantly watch.
Who…
Well
someone is.
Me.
I watch the Moon.
And Mars.
That is another story totally different.
Not the theme now.
The Moon is the protagonist now.
And the sky.
And I try to find out
without a telescope
where I am.
Say
This is what I am talking about.
Watching the Moon
I think about eternity.
You know
millions of years.
Who wants to live forever.
I do.
Impossible.
I know.
But, believe me
If I could
I would
live millions of years
billions of years
trillions of years.
Not for vanity.
Not for any human foolish desire.
No.
Just to see
to witness
the evolution
the rise and demise
of our galaxy.
Of our universe.
To see it grow to its fullest.
To see it reduce
to its blackest
to its unbelievable
compact dense
black hole
singularity>
Where our dreams
our desires
are not more
than molecules
so uncomfortably tight
that they can’t interact within themselves
no more…
I would love to see the end of it all…
Eternity…
