Could be nice

could be terrible.
It greatly depends
on oh so many factors.
How one feels
at any particular moment.
How one does
where one stands
socially
economically
culturally.
Everything always depends in the baggage.
And I don’t mean physical baggage.
I mean
psychologically.
The mental baggage we all carry
wherever we go.
A very clever friend
always repeated this same question:
Are you carrying luggage
or are you carrying equipment…?
Well,
answering that question
most of the time
I am carrying luggage.
It is wrong.
I know.
I should always carry equipment.
As a mean lean soldier.
Always ready
for whatever.
It’s only that most of us
we are not really prepared
for what is coming our way.
We are distracted.
We are aloof…
